Arianespace launch with Superbird-7 and AMC-21: Lift-off is set for Thursday, August 14

On its fifth launch of the year, Arianespace will orbit two communications satellites: Superbird-7 for Japanese operator Space Communications Corporation (SCC) in the scope of a contract with Mitsubishi Electric Corporation (MELCO) and AMC-21 for SES AMERICOM, the American operating company of the SES group.

Liftoff of the Ariane 5 is set for the night of Thursday, August 14 at the opening of the following launch window:

From 5:44 p.m. to 6:35 p.m., local time in Kourou, French Guiana,
From 4:44 p.m. to 5:35 p.m. in Washington, D.C.
From 8:44 p.m. to 9:35 p.m. UTC,
From 10:44 p.m. to 11:35 p.m. in Paris,
From 5:44 a.m. to 6:35 a.m. in Tokyo, on Friday, August 15
